The built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) enables you to run the plate processing directly on the camera, rather than in a separate PC and it will recognize not only the license plate number, but also its color, very useful detail in order to identify the country or state of origin of the vehicle. The system is Stand Alone, since it is able to work without data connection with previous set-up, while the on-board web server allows the immediate camera configuration and software
update, greatly reducing maintenance costs.
The color sensor has been integrated by a white light LED, which, thanks to advanced software, can adjust automatically its intensity according to external light conditions, ensuring high quality images. Vega Color also ensures the license plates identification and reading of vehicles traveling between two lanes, thus avoiding any lack of detection.
